Security
Our shopping cart is secure and protected by SSL encryption technology. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a method of ensuring that information submitted through your web site is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorized users. When a site offers an SSL-secured form, the information submitted via that form (typically credit card information) is encrypted using a special certificate key and then decrypted with another key after it has been transmitted. When users access a site secured with SSL using their browser, a symbol displays in their browser windows indicating that the site is secure.
Pricing
All prices shown are in New Zealand Dollars and inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) of 15.00% but exclusive of delivery charges.
We reserve the right to alter prices on the site without notice. The price of a product displayed on the website at the time the order will be accepted and honoured as correct. 1st October 2010 brings tax changes for businesses in New Zealand with an increase in GST from 12.5% to 15%. Because GST is a supply tax, LimeBox will apply the new rate for all goods supplied (i.e. dispatched & invoiced) on and after 1st October. In this way, orders placed prior to 1st October but supplied after 30th September will have the new GST rate applied.
Payment
We accept Visa and MasterCard. Your card information is not disclosed to any other party. Goods will only be dispatched once full payment has been received through our secure payment system and funds have been cleared – this is typically two days with Visa and MasterCard.
An automatic e-mail confirmation of the order will be sent to the customer's registered email address. A hard copy of the tax invoice in respect of the purchase will be sent with the item when dispatched. Lime:Box reserves the right to review and/or to cancel orders containing information that cannot be verified.
Cancellation of Orders
In order to provide our customers with the quickest possible delivery, most orders will be shipped within 24 hours after order details have been verified and payment has been received. If customers would like to cancel an order, you are requested to contact Lime:Box within 24 hours of placing your online order. Requests for cancellation will be considered on a case-by-case basis and Lime:Box will exercise its sole discretion in determining whether an order placed through the site may be cancelled.
Returns and Exchanges
Lime:Box recommends that customers thoroughly inspect goods upon receipt, and before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase from Lime:Box. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your purchase within 10 days of the purchase date for a credit or exchange to the same value excluding shipping costs.
We will not accept goods in damaged packaging unless they are faulty.
Delivery charges and return freight costs will not be refunded unless the goods are faulty.
We will only accept goods returned with prior notification through correspondence via email to sales@limebox.co.nz. Please advise the reason for the return including instructions on whether you prefer the goods to be refunded, exchanged or a Lime:Box credit note provided.
There is no return or exchange for sale items.
We will not accept any goods that have been worn, used, altered, damaged, have their labels removed, or have been engraved.
Returned items must be in their original packaging, accompanied by the original invoice.
All returned goods must be sent to LimeBox, PO Box 132 137, Sylvia Park, Auckland 1644. Lime:Box does not accept returns due to normal wear and tear on used items.
We cannot guarantee that we will be willing to accept the item for return or exchange if you do not contact us via email within ten days of receiving your goods.
Exchange Policy
In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability. The customer will incur any shipping costs for returning items. We can only exchange an item for a different style or colour subject to stock availability. All exchange enquiries can be made via email or phone.
Exchanged items can only be dispatched once the original purchased item has been received and quality checked. Any returns showing signs of wear or alterations, cannot be accepted. Please be aware that you will incur an additional freight charge for the delivery of the replacement item.
Receiving a Refund
Once your goods have been returned to us within the above stated time frame and passed quality checks, we will process your refund request. Your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the initial return request received via email. All returned products will be credited to the original purchasers’ credit card including GST but excluding courier charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when the transaction has taken place.
Please note: if we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss next steps. Lime:Box reserves the right to refuse an exchange or return for any item sent back in a used or damaged condition.
Availability of Products
Lime:Box will always endeavor to have full stock of our items, however as we import many items ourselves we can encounter small delays in supply. Also from time to time, heavy demand, limited editions or other factors beyond the control of Lime:Box may render the products temporarily or permanently unavailable. In such circumstances the customer will be advised of the delay, the length of the delay and given product alternatives or the option of placing the product on backorder.
Gift Returns
If someone has sent you a gift from Lime:Box but it isn’t quite what you were hoping for, then you can return it in exchange for a Lime:Box credit note which you can use to redeem on our web site. In the event of a gift return, we require that you return the new and unused goods to us with all the original labelling attached within ten days of receiving the goods. A Lime:Box credit note will allow you to select a replacement item / items from our website within three months of date of issue. If you would like to use your credit note online, please contact us to organize this. Please be aware that you will be required to pay any difference in cost and any additional shipping charges.
Gift Vouchers
The Purchaser:
At the shopping cart, please indicate the gift voucher amount you require, and the contact name and address of the person to receive this gift voucher so freight can be added.
Don’t forget to enter in the special instructions section, your personalized message to the recipient.
All gift vouchers will be sent to the redeemer with a personalized Lime:Box gift card.
The Redeemer:
All Lime:Box vouchers must be redeemed in full within six months of issue, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
All Lime:Box vouchers must be redeemed in one transaction only, no refunds will be made. There will be no balances left remaining.
The Lime:Box voucher must be redeemed by the person whom the voucher was issued to, at the shopping cart.
If your purchase is more than the value of the gift card (which already includes freight) you can top up the payment with any of our usual payment methods.
All freight has been included in this voucher. No further freight charges apply.
Privacy Policy
Lime:Box is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal information safe. It is our policy that we will not sell any information that identifies you personally to any other company or third party organisation. We do not provide any third parties with your personal details unless absolutely required as part of the order fulfilment process e.g. banks or courier companies. The server that we store your information on is kept in a secure environment. Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk.
When you register, place an order, or request information with Lime:Box you will be asked to submit personal details including name, mailing address, and phone number. With your permission we also collect your email address to keep you up-to-date with offers and promotions, and for confirming your order. When you place an order we will also require your credit card information. This will only be used to charge your account for goods purchased. Should you encounter any difficulties with this, simply email us and we will attend to your query.
Warranties
LimeBox does not manufacture the products it sells. Therefore, LimeBox does not warrant that any LimeBox products are fit for any specific purpose. However, it is LimeBox‘s policy to ensure that all products meet LimeBox’s high quality and style standards before a new product is added to its sales range.
We can assure you that we will pass on to you the benefit of any warranties given by the manufacturers or suppliers of the goods.
The Customer shall ensure that the products are not used for any purpose for which they are not suitable and shall be responsible for using all necessary skill and care in handling and using the products.
Great effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, ideas and opinions expressed on the LimeBox website. Whilst photographs, pictures etc are designed to accurately represent the details of products available for sale on the LimeBox website, we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss resulting from reliance upon information or images displayed on this website. Please note – you should not rely on your computer monitor for colour accuracy as monitor settings may vary.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim, damages, loss, or expense related to the supply by us of goods or services is limited to the cost paid by you for the goods or services and except where statute expressly requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law LimeBox will not be liable in any event whether in beach or in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by you or any other person, even if Lime:Box was informed of the possibility of such damages.
Law and Jurisdiction
This website and any contract for your purchase from LimeBox ("Lime:Box") is governed by and has to be interpreted under the Law of New Zealand, and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. The Laws of Sale and contract by any other country do not apply.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ("the Act")
If you are a consumer under the Act and you are acquiring or holding yourself out as acquiring the goods for a business purpose, the Act will not apply. Subject to this clause nothing in these terms will affect your rights as a consumer under the Act.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993- The provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ("CGA") shall not apply to any supply of Product to you, and the conditions, warranties and guarantees set out in the Sale of Goods Act 1908 or otherwise implied by statue or common law will not apply and are excluded from these terms of trade.
- Where you purchase any Products from us resupply as, or incorporation into, goods or services ordinarily acquired for personal household or domestic use or consumption ("Consumer Products") you warrant that:
- If you supply the Consumer Products directly to an end user/consumer you will do so using terms and conditions of supply which exclude liability for any claims under the CGA; and
- if your customer acquires any Products for resupply, you will ensure that your customer and each person in the distribution chain will exclude liability in its contract for supply for any claims under the CGA
